Question by Baby Blue: Do “Flea collars” for Dogs Actually Work?
Thanks

No, they only kill the fleas around the neck area. Some dogs can get skin problems around the neck from wearing them.
Far better to use Frontline Plus, or some other spot on therapy, easy to apply and is quite effective, I use it on both my Labs and they’ve by no means had fleas given that.

Sometimes. They work for my dogs but most people recommend the drops or preventatives like Frontline.
Flea collars are crap. If you want a flea-less dog, go out and get some Frontline. That stuff is a miracle.
They are not 100% effective although they can help with the problem, a better solution to flea problems are remedies like ” Frontline “
no frontline or stronghold. stronghold also gets rid of earmites as recommended by my vet
I think nothing truly works against fleas.but the collar does help.
