One of the best products I’ve used,
Fleas have been very bad this year, and it appears that some may be developing an immunity to the topical products on the market. I use Capstar prior to using the topical products on my dogs and cat, and have had great success.

|Capstar green for dogs,
Absolutely works, Frontline was a bummer, Florida has a major insect season and the Capstars took care of that. Expensive but so is Frontline through a vet which is the only way to not buy a knock-off.
Plus I like Amazon, never got a bum product from Jeff or the guys. Shipping is quick, much quicker than advertised, nothing is ever damaged.

Capstar kills fleas FAST. We’ve had to use a couple doses to kill off the fleas that hatched after the first pill, but it’s far far more effective than Frontline. My dog will eat anything if there’s peanut butter on it, so the pill was much easier than trying to apply Frontline or a spray (she really hated that) to her skin.
Also, this price is a bargain. The vet charged us about the same price for just one pill!
Highly recommended for: killing fleas extremely fast, squirmy dogs, making your dog stop scratching right away, avoiding $$$ vet trips.

|wasted money and hope,
I tried this product first as it was cheaper than Frontline.
I was very disappointed as it left my poor pets constantly scratching.
It doesn’t do what it claims, and I’d never use it again.

|Harmful to pets,
My dogs have been using Frontline for the last couple of years but I decided to give Hartz a try since it had been recommended to me. I applied the appropriate dosage to my Pomeranian mix (20lbs), who immediately after began exhibiting odd behavior including vomiting, and rolling her eyes back. I called up the emergency vet who told me the horrors of Hartz flea treatments. I immediately gave my dog a bath, to get the chemicals off her and drove her to the vet. Unfortunately this product can be lethal, luckily my dog recovered just fine, but not all pets are so lucky. I can’t recomendmd this product.

|Don’t waste your money,
This product absolutely does not work. I put it on my dogs and it did not make one bit of difference with their flea problem. It is worth it to spend the extra money on Advantage, that one actually works, and works well I might add.

|Great dog shampoo,
Well, one night I am up at Petsmart looking for shampoo for this Cocker Spaniel we just got who was itching and had fleas. They persuaded me to get this other shampoo, a famous brand, which turned out to be useless. So I went back and one of the other persons there recommended this shampoo. There are no fleas, no rash, no incessant itching–it handles the smell, and the dog’s coat is radiant.
In time my bottle, which lasts a very long time, was running out. I went back to Petsmart and they didn’t have any. So I looked on Amazon and found it which made me very happy because this stuff is so good and it works so well, and now I don’t have to worry about where to find it!
I thought at the time I first got it that it was a little pricey, but it is well worth it. Zodiac has another shampoo that looks very similar and is a less expensive, but this is the one that for me does the job. This shampoo is great!

|Zodiac Oatmeal Conditioning Dog Shampoo,
This is a great shampoo to resist fleas and ticks, and conditions the coat while being gentle on the skin of the dog. My labrador goes and lays in the creek almost daily, then walks through the woods back to to the house through tall weeds. A wet dog attracts ticks! This shampoo is gentle enough to use often, and keeps the ticks at bay. And he really has a shiny, healthy coat!

|Nice Flea Comb,
I wasn’t sure if the teeth of this comb would go all the way to the skin of my Cairn Terrier, so I was pleasantly surprised to find that it works very well and removes some of the dead undercoat too. The wood handle is comfortable, so my hand doesn’t tire while using it.
